We live in an apartment complex and there are lots of kids here. I was just notified that they will be installing smart meters. I have been seeking out a good pamphlet to pass to my neighbors so we can unite and stop them from putting it in even though I have low-income due to recent loss of my job. 🙁 If you could help would be wonderful!

We opted out and have not yet been charged the penalty or monthly fee. After reading on DR. Megda Havas PHD Trent University Website Canada that ambient microwaves can cause some analog meters to read higher than actual usage. I covered mine with aluminum mesh and my monthly bill has been cut in half two months in a row. Do not do this with a smart meter.

Here in SE Michigan they have installed one million plus meters and our public utilities seems to not even bat an eye over any of the concerns to health or privacy. These energy groups are really a sorry lot of people who are uneducated and goon like. Apparently they can do whatever they want until we learn to get off of their grid. So yeah, totally illegal but this is where our society is going until we either get off the grid or wake up collectively as a whole and retaliate. I think the flyer is awesome but needs a web link on the flyer.
