It’s made of a metallic fabric that easily slips over the smart meters (held in place with an enteral elastic band) creating an effective Faraday Cage. Their website is http://www.rfmetershield.com.

about a week after i had a root canal/crown build up on my very back upper tooth, i began having tinnitus. been to many doctors, and audiologists. they all say everything should be normal. after 12 years of this, ive decided that is was the dental work that is causing my tinnitus. i plan on having that tooth extracted when i can afford it.

Is a SM shield considered equipment tampering & subject to fine by the utility supplier?
2. I presume any shield might ‘augment’ the broadcast signal. If one has a computer, they can check their utility account before & after applying the shield.

Hi Paul,
Do you recommend ppl try to produce their own power? If so- what is safest way? Trying to educate myself and was hoping solar or other options would work…

TY!

Looks like this only shields the smart meter to the outside, not shielding the house from the meter.

Unfortunately you have contaminated your home’s entire electric field with dirty electricity from the solar company’s meter and inverter. The digital meter sends RF over energized wiring. If it were me I would shut the solar off whenever I was home.

However, we had solar installed in November. I asked the solar company about it, and (supposedly having checked, with apologies and apparent regret) told me we would have to allow the AMR meter–to enable the excess solar to feed back to the power company, and so that we wouldn’t be charged for the outgoing power as well as the incoming! (Does anyone know if this really *is* the case?)

Still waiting for the power company to come do their inspection (and install the AMR meter) 12 1/2 weeks since the solar installation… But once that’s done, I do plan on shielding the bloody thing. I could get some heavy aluminum foil, but I also have some thin lead sheeting… Which would work better?
