Californians for Renewable Energy reported that it had filed a complaint to the Federal Communications Commission, alleging that the wireless transmissions from the meters, which measure electricity and gas use, could have created an electric current in the pipe, produced a spark and ignited the fuel rushing through line.

My god people, wake up! This is criminal! The PG&E execs and the CPUC need to be held accountable for this. Remember all it takes is one tiny spark to ignite gas, and gas pipes are in all of our homes.
