The people at the power company think that they are immune to pulsed smart meter microwave frequency radiation.

Maybe they should be reminded of “Microwave Syndrome” symptoms.

What do we do when the utilities/Public Service Commission says electromagnetic exposures do not cause EHS, that EHS is not a “medical” diagnosis, and we can’t prove that their meters are making us worse, and our doctors’ request for analog meters are “not convincing?” This is the equivalent of “go live in the woods,” I suppose. And we do what you are doing: do not stand down.

Right on Eric- My understanding is that the radio frequency meter still pulses EMF. If Josh is sensitive to this, then the analog meter should be left there without an additional fee. A “smart” meter is just a radio frequency meter with a smart chip which will pulse EMF and communicate data. An article last week predicts 5 billion smart appliances will be connected by 2020. Just another scam to “encourage” us to buy their ringknocker buddies’ Energy Star appliances. Use our appliance and pay $.07/KWH- keep yours and pay $.18/ KWH…gotcha.

When I informed my housing association that the pulsed radiation from the new Itron 100G gas meters were making me sick and I was concerned about the development of my new born baby, they told me to move! I have a medical diagnosis of Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity, likely induced into me from extended exposure to the transmitting electric and gas meters that I was never informed about the known toxicity of these devices…probably because it was an “Inconvenient Truth”.

If you follow the link “in the paper this week” Mr. Marshall says “we do not have smart meters, we have radio frequency meters”. He is playing the word game to fool you! The fact is his meter transmits microwave radiation.

Over the past several years Utilities all around the country had changed the names of their meters many, many times in order to avoid public concern. These new meters have an identity crisis with their names being changed frequently. For example in the fall of 2012 many utilities were offering A meter that did not transmit microwave radiation, the utilities called it by a variety of names including: Smart meter radio off, non transmitting digital meter, Digital meter, non-communicating digital meter.

The important thing to find out is number one is an analog meter? If it is not you have two problems: number one is microwave radiation and number two is dirty electricity.

Stick with the analog meter and get your friends to do the same thing. Utilities are hoping you won’t know the difference.
