Smart Meter Resources from Ronald Powell Ph.D.

One name you should know if you are serious about investigating the health damage caused by smart meters is that of Dr. Ronald M. Powell Ph.D.

Dr. Powell received his doctorate in Applied Physics from Harvard University in 1975, and has worked for the National Science Foundation and the National Institute of Standards on energy policy research and R&D program evaluation.

He has carried out extensive research and evidence submission on the topic of utility “smart” meters, and is uniquely qualified to interpret the junction between the physics of electromagnetic fields and the biology of human exposure (most experts used by industry are focused on the physics side but typically have no knowledge of medicine or biology). You can access Dr. Powell’s smart meter research papers here, or directly via the links at the bottom of this page in the Scribd box.

Thank you Dr. Ronald Powell for your invaluable work to influence policy, and make the public more aware of the true nature of the smart grid.

As part of an analysis of the health, privacy and cyber security risks of various types of smart meters, Dr. Powell has created this very useful summary guide, below:PowellMeterChart

Dr. Powell’s qualifications:

“I am a retired U.S. Government scientist (Ph.D., Applied Physics, Harvard University, 1975). During my Government career, I worked for the Executive Office of the President, the National Science Foundation, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. For those organizations, respectively, I addressed Federal research and development program evaluation, energy policy research, and measurement development in support of the electronics and electrical-equipment industries and the biomedical research community. I currently interact with other scientists and with physicians around the world on the impact of the environment – including the radiofrequency/microwave environment – on human health.”
